Lenticular Clouds

March 25, 2006: A spectacular display of lenticular clouds could be seen all across San Diego County this evening. Click on the images above to enlarge. These four images, taken from the top of Mt. Laguna, are courtesy of the HPWREN camera network. I really wish I would have brought my camera to work. Oh well. I was able to snap a few photos while at work using the office camera, which is why the quality of the photos below are sub-20D quality.

As sunset approached, the lenticular clouds began to stack higher and higher.
